Tercera jornada en la 080 Barcelona Fashion con muchas más propuestas de moda masculina. Desde la refinada e impecable sastrería arquitectónica de Georgina Vendrell, que se ha colocado directamente en mi top 3 de colecciones favoritas de este año, la elegancia tipo gentleman presente en la colección de Punto Blanco y las mil referencias al azul del Mediterráneo con "Lapislázuli", la sugerente colección de Miquel Suay. Más allá de lo que se vio sobre la pasarela, Gemma Mengual fue la encargada de presentar "So Blue" el nuevo magazine bi-anual de tendencias y moda editado por Solán de Cabras, y cuyo evento de presentación fue toda una delicia.
Third day at the 080 Barcelona Fashion with more shows focused this time on menswear collections. Georgina Vendrell made my personal "top 3 collections" with her architectural lines, clean silhouettes and impeccable finishes that showed a refined concept of tailoring. Punto Blanco once again proved that they know how to organize a good show and this year they brought a summery version of a contemporary gentleman. The Mediterranean and the different shades of blue were the inspiration behind Miquel Suay's intriguing collection, "Lapislázuli". While the models were walking down the runway, "So Blue", the newest biannual magazine published by Solán de Cabras was being presented by swimmer Gemma Mengual, and I must say that the launching event was a total pleasure.

La colección "UrbanWarrior" se inspira en lo urbano, en el vanguardismo y el streetwear. En la masculinidad y la modernidad. Un hombre contemporáneo con visión futurista, guerreros urbanos con un estilo impecable, moderno y ecléctico. Materiales tecnológicos y nuevas texturas. PUNTO BLANCO
Como cada año, el desfile de Punto Blanco es uno de los más esperados de la temporada. Y es que la marca igualadina sabe perfectamente que casting de modelos seleccionar y como organizar uno de los desfiles más divertidos. Con su colección "Holiday Dreams", Punto Blanco difumina aún más la línea entre ir a la playa y ser un elegante caballero: jerseys de fino punto, tonos salmón, verde menta y pasteles, son algunos de los básicos en la paleta de esta temporada, sin perder de vista el blanco y azul marino. Calcetines altos de vistosos colores y bolsos de la firma Slang terminarán de alegrar nuestras maletas las próximas vacaciones.
Each and every year, the Punto Blanco show is one of the most hyped of the 080. The Igualada brand knows exactly how to cast their models and how to put on a show. With their latest collection "Holiday Dreams", Punto Blanco blurs the limit between going to the beach and being a gentleman: soft jumpers, salmon, mint green, yellow and pastel tones complete their palette without forgetting navy blue and white. High colorfull socks and Slang handbags will complete our luggage for our next holidays season.
MIQUEL SUAY
Miquel Suay nos propone una colección de diseño práctico y funcional pero sin perder una actitud que le permite jugar con las texturas. Basada en la cúpula de Miquel Barceló para la ONU, el Mediterráneo es la pieza clave: una amalgama de azules marinos, blancos espumosos de las olas, luminosidad del sol en el mar y colores coralinos, que desencadenan una colección donde los tejidos, colorimetría y formas reflejan claramente este espíritu.
Miquel Suay brings a collection of design very thought out, functional and practical, yet with an attitude that experiments with textures. Based on Miquel Barcelo's dome for the UN, The Mediterranean sea is the main source of inspiration. Amalgam of navy blue, sparkling white of the waves, bright sunshine at sea and coral colors translates into a collection where the tissues, colorimetry and shapes clearly reflect the sea.
